Philodendron sp. are originally native to tropical America. Thaumatophyllum xanadu are native to the rainforests of Brazil in particular. A genus with a long naming history, recently renamed thanks to the wonders of modern day DNA testing. Thaumatophyllum xanadu ‘Gold Bullion’, Gold Bullion says it all. A beautiful new hybrid adding contrast to all of that green. Lush gold foliage with deeply lobed margins layered on pinkish red stems. They make a beautiful potted specimen in cooler climates or planted in rushes or swathes in warmer.
